Neil Alpert is an established Washington, DC, entrepreneur who guides Potomac Management, where he provides strategic advice and management solutions to clients around the globe. Leveraging an extensive organizational leadership background, Neil Alpert gained early experience as a development manager with the American Cancer Society in the early 2000s. Through community-based events such as Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and Relay For Life, he coordinated sustained fundraising efforts.
Mr. Alpert subsequently worked with the American Red Cross as state director of development, and was successful in managing the Red Cross in Rhode Island’s full fundraising budget. In addition to pursuing individual fundraising pathways, he engaged with the state governor's office in securing state grants.
More recently, Neil Alpert held a turnaround-focused position with the publicly traded company LaserLock Technologies in Washington, DC, serving as CEO. His work at the helm of this pioneering firm drove capital raising efforts that allowed for recapitalization. This led to the successful sale of LaserLock to a new ownership group in 2015.
